With furniture designs that are characterized by clean, timeless lines and comfortable proportions, Fred Doughty’s award-winning style has evolved from the indoors out in a career spanning two decades. Having studied design at the Rhode Island School of Design, and then at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, Fred became Design Director of design consultant companies Brown Jordan Furniture and Price Pfister Faucets. As the principal of Premises Design, he has won three Pinnacle Awards from ASFD, as well as numerous awards from IIDA and ICFA. Notable Jensen Outdoor designs include Laguna.
